Information used

When you install SpecPebble, we store your Shopify shop domain, authorization scopes, encrypted access and refresh tokens, and session information needed to authenticate your store. Shopify may include staff account details in an online session. We read product titles, metafield definitions, and selected metafield values to configure and preview specifications. When you use product editing, encrypted before and after values are stored for up to 30 days to support safe retries and restoration. Catalog scans store product identifiers, titles, and missing field labels so you can resume a scan. Drafts, configuration revisions, job status, and limited setup events are stored in our database.

Published table settings are stored in Shopify as app-owned data. Product editing is optional and requires separate product write access. Changes are shown for review before you save them. We do not request customer or order access, sell personal information, use advertising trackers, or collect shopper profiles.

Service providers

Shopify supplies store data and renders the storefront table. Vercel hosts the application and processes requests, including technical connection information such as IP addresses. Neon stores application sessions, drafts, job state, and the records described above in a PostgreSQL database. These providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence.

Retention and deletion

Shop-scoped application records are deleted when Shopify delivers an uninstall notification or shop deletion request. Product-value snapshots expire after 30 days and setup events after 90 days. Expired records are removed by scheduled maintenance. App-owned settings are managed by Shopify. Technical logs and provider backups follow the providers’ retention policies. We do not deliberately log product values or access tokens. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You can export table settings in the app, remove the theme block, and uninstall at any time. Email support to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or to raise a privacy complaint. Include your store domain so we can verify the request; never email passwords or access tokens.
